Deer Hunting Checklist

What do I need to bring?

• Safety Harness (Required)

• All Necessary Permits; License-Tags, License, Habitat Stamp (Required)

• Bow, shotgun, or muzzleloader and all accessories including: ammo, release, arrows, broadheads etc.

• Contact us regarding IL DNR weapon regulations (ie shotgun plug, bow draw weight, etc.)

• Camouflage Clothing and gloves-hand warmers etc.
  

• Scent Control Clothing- Scent Lok/ Scent Blocker etc. (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

• Containers for storage of your scent free clothing

• Scent control soap-deodorant-sprays

• Rain Gear

• Boots and socks

• Binoculars

• Rangefinder

• Calls, grunt tubes, rattle bags or antlers

• Deer scents (optional)

• Decoy (optional)

• Flashlight and extra batteries

• Rope used to lower or pull up your bow or gun

• Bow hanger

• Clothing, be prepared for any weather condition!!!

• Mobile Phone/Radio

• Water and Snacks

• Field Dressing Equipment

• Bring warm clothing and dress in layers
